Job summary

Glencore’s Mount Isa Mines Operations (MIM) seeks a Training Superintendent to lead a core team of training professionals and ensure consistent onboarding, assessment, and competency validation across processing and skills-based activities.

You will coordinate training across multiple work areas within a large mining and processing facility, maintain records with high accuracy, and promote a positive safety and performance culture. Relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus a Diploma or related field.
• 5+ years in training delivery, coordination or competency management.
• 3+ years leading a team with coaching and performance management.
• Experience coordinating training across multiple work areas.
• Understanding of competency-based training and assessment.
• Familiarity with mining and processing operations.
• Strong organisational skills to manage priorities and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience maintaining training records and reporting with accuracy.
• Active leadership focusing on accountability and culture.
