Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a high-calibre Group Financial Controller to lead the finance function across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Reporting to the CFO, you will own group accounting, reporting, tax, treasury and financial controls in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment.

You will drive finance transformation, systems optimisation and governance while partnering with the executive team to enable growth, acquisitions and value creation for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• You will possess CA/CPA qualification and 10+ years in accounting, finance and controllership.
• Experience leading multi-entity and multi-currency environments with audits and compliance.
• Proven capability in financial reporting, technical accounting and treasury oversight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership in a high-growth setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting processes.
• Oversee multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting and foreign currency reporting.
• Manage statutory financial reporting, audit processes and technical accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Deliver reporting to executives, investors and external stakeholders.
• Oversee treasury management, cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
• Coordinate external advisors including auditors, tax specialists and banking partners.
• Drive finance transformation, automation and process optimisation initiatives.
• Lead a high-performing finance team and partner with senior executives on strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to acquisition due diligence, integration and growth opportunities.
