Job summary

Sharp & Carter, partnering with a private equity-backed technology group, seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead accounting, tax, treasury and reporting across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Reporting to the CFO, you will build a best-in-class finance function, drive system improvements, manage multi-entity, multi-currency accounting, and oversee acquisitions integration.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification and eligible to work in Australia.
• 10+ years' experience in accounting, finance and controllership.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to private equity-backed businesses preferred.
• Experience leading audits and consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Lead group accounting, reporting, tax, treasury and controls.
• Oversee intercompany and consolidations.
• Drive finance transformation and systems improvement.
• Partner with CFO and executive team.
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
