Job summary

Sharp & Carter Finance & Accounting WS is seeking a Financial Controller to own financial control, reporting and governance while leading the finance team. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive month‑end close, statutory compliance and enhance governance and processes across a growing FMCG business.

You will bring CA/CPA qualifications with strong technical accounting skills, leadership experience, and a track record of strengthening controls and improving reporting to support international

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification with strong technical accounting foundations.
• Experience as Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager or in a comparable leadership role.
• Track record of strengthening financial controls and improving finance processes, systems and reporting.
• Proven people leadership capability developing and improving finance teams.
• Ideally experience in manufacturing, FMCG, retail or franchising.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accurate reporting.
• Own statutory reporting, compliance, taxation and external audits.
• Strengthen controls, governance and balance sheet integrity.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and working capital reporting.
• Drive improvements across finance systems, reporting and automation.
• Improve quality, accuracy and timeliness of management reporting.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight and decision support.
• Develop the finance team and enhance capability and performance.
• Support CFO on strategic projects and business improvements.
• Build financial infrastructure to support domestic and international growth.
