Job summary

UPS is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee daily inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with drivers, offices and the Packaging Team. The role uses Maestro to plan, execute and monitor import/export movement, including temperature-controlled and special handling requirements.

Strong attention to detail and customer focus are essential, with experience in international logistics and pharma-related operations.

Qualifications

Professional experience in customer service operations, preferably in international air freight.
Preference for knowledge of pharmaceutical and clinical trial industry.
Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Strong customer focus.
Team player, self-motivated.
Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

Monitor inbound and outbound shipments daily to meet timelines.
Plan, execute and monitor shipments using Maestro.
Coordinate collections, deliveries, and recoveries with departments and drivers.
Maintain communication with Packaging Team for supplies.
Process temperature-sensitive shipments for cold chain.
Prepare and maintain temperature-controlled shipments.
Provide proper documentation to agents/drivers.
Confirm MAWB and route for final destination.
Define best routes and update Maestro milestones.
Handle irregularities and perform admin tasks.
