Job summary

First Global Management Services seeks an experienced Event Manager to coordinate planning through on-site execution for meetings and large events. You will act as the primary client contact after booking, ensuring client needs are met while coordinating with all venue departments.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in event planning, a CMP is desirable, and strong skills with Delphi, Cvent, Eventbrite, and Google Workspace. Expect on-site work across campus or venue settings.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in event planning, conference services, or catering, preferably in large-scale settings.
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central client contact after the event space is booked, managing planning to post-event.
• Coordinate with Catering, Facilities, AV, Reception and Security to consolidate service touchpoints.
• Lead internal meetings, create run sheets, diagrams, and CE packages for events.
• Oversee load-in, setup, strike and on-site troubleshooting to ensure seamless delivery.
