Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking an experienced Conference Operations professional to support flawless delivery of conferences as part of our global events operations team.

You will plan and execute logistics from development through on-site wrap-up, assist with venue management and VIP experiences, and manage budgets with accurate forecasts for multiple regions. This role requires cross-functional collaboration and travel about 15% to Gartner Conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of event experience preferred.
• Experience in managing agency and vendor partners.
• Project management or end-to-end event management and delivery to senior level clients.
• Strong financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute event logistics from development through wrap-up.
• Support Conference Manager with venue management, rooms, F&B and housing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Manage shipment of freight to onsite conferences.
• Coordinate temporary staff and onsite management.
• Assist with conference budgets and monthly forecasts; manage expenses.
• Lead VIP member experiences within Destination Conference; manage budgets.
