Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sydney is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our NDIS services and launch a new Support at Home offering. You will oversee daily operations, coach the team, manage staffing and ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care standards.

You’ll build referral networks, grow participant numbers, monitor budgets, and drive improvements across systems and policies while traveling interstate to visit sites and partners.

Qualifications

• Management experience in disability services (NDIS) and Support at Home, Home Care Packages or aged care.
• Minimum 5 years in disability or home care, with at least 3 years in management.
• Proven track record of growing a service via new clients or referrals.
• Established relationships with support coordinators and referral groups is valued.
• Knowledge of Support at Home program, aged care funding, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Strong knowledge of NDIS, NDIS Practice Standards, and NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission.
• Experience setting up a new service or program is valued.
• Hands-on audit and compliance experience is expected.
• Financial management skills including budgets and funding models.
• Proven ability to lead and retain a team.
• Willingness to travel interstate regularly is essential.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, valid driver’s licence, and own car.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our disability and Home Care services across regions.
• Launch the Support at Home service with systems, processes, staffing and onboarding.
• Run daily operations, coach the team and manage rosters to ensure consistent, quality support.
• Ensure NDIs Practice Standards and Aged Care standards are met and audited.
• Monitor budgets, pricing, and service profitability; report to Director.
• Drive improvements to systems, policies and processes.
• Maintain robust referral networks and grow participant numbers.
• Oversee incidents, complaints and reportable incidents with proper reporting.
