Job summary

The Marlow Hotel Group is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead The Kings Park Tavern, Western Sydney's largest venue, overseeing gaming, bars, a busy bistro, children’s amenities, and events operations.

You will work with a hands-on senior leadership team, maintaining autonomy to drive performance, culture, and guest experiences, with a 42–45 hour week including day, night, and weekend shifts. Excellent career prospects exist within our hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

• GM/VM/licensee experience is required.
• Experience leading gaming rooms and F&B operations.
• Strong leadership with culture-building ability.
• Proven people development and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of NSW compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of Western Sydney's biggest venues, The Kings Park Tavern.
• Oversee gaming rooms, bars, bistro, and function spaces to maximize revenue.
• Partner with senior leadership while maintaining autonomy at the venue.

Job description

The Marlow Hotel Group needs a seasoned, passionate and people focused General Manager to lead one of Western Sydney's biggest venues- The Kings Park Tavern.

A large format multi-faceted venue, the hotel boasts 4 high-trade bars, a busy and popular bistro, state of the art children's playground, bottle shop, function room and a high quality gaming. This behemoth requires a true leader, who wants to take their career to the next level.

Whilst receiving plenty of support and counsel from a hands on senior leadership team, you will enjoy autonomy and freedom to operate the venue.

The perfect candidate will have:

Experience in a GM/VM/licensee role

Experience in leading gaming rooms, food & beverage operations and understanding of revenue levers

Strong leadership and culture building skills, with the ability to influence change in your teams

A passion for leading and developing people and venues

Knowledge of the compliance requirements in NSW
