Job summary

Vendito, a respected electrical wholesaler, is hiring a Branch Manager to lead the Geelong operation. This hands-on role focuses on growing sales and optimizing branch performance while maintaining strong contractor relationships.

You will manage day-to-day operations, mentor the branch team, and work with suppliers to ensure excellent service. The ideal candidate has electrical wholesale experience, senior sales or branch management background, and a proactive leadership style.

Qualifications

• Experience within electrical wholesale or electrical distribution
• Previous Branch Management, Assistant Branch Management or senior sales experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and the trade customer market
• Proven sales and business development ability
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Commercial understanding and the ability to manage branch performance
• Excellent customer relationship-building skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership
• The ability to motivate a team and lead by example

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the branch
• Lead, support and develop the branch team
• Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade customers
• Develop new customer relationships across the local market
• Manage branch budgets, targets and overall profitability
• Oversee stock levels, purchasing and inventory management
• Ensure a high standard of customer service across the branch
• Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor branch KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
• Create a positive, supportive and high‑performing team environment
