Job summary

Middy’s Electrical in Geelong seeks an experienced Sales Manager to drive branch growth, develop new business and strengthen customer relationships. You will use industry knowledge, commercial awareness and CRM to identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable growth.

The role focuses on achieving revenue and gross-profit targets, growing the customer base, and supporting strong sales performance across the branch. A Diploma of Business or higher is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
• Proven experience in sales or business development.
• Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness, including experience managing margin/GP%.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines and activities.
• The ability to coordinate effectively across sales and operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch sales, revenue and gross profit targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and grow active customer accounts.
• Manage the sales pipeline and customer opportunities through CRM.
• Drive quote conversion through effective follow-up and sales activity.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and uphold high service standards.
• Promote Middy’s products and services to grow existing and new accounts.
• Monitor market, product and industry trends to identify sales opportunities.
• Support branch promotions, customer events and business development initiatives.
