Job summary

Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the day-to-day gaming operations at venues across Queensland, including Daunwoody's Hotel. You will work with the Venue Manager to drive revenue, guest experiences and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and knowledge of Queensland RSA/RSG, RMLV and Gaming Nominee licensing. You will oversee audits, coaching, and promotions while delivering a welcoming, responsible guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading gaming operations and ensuring KPI achievement.
• Knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
• Ability to recruit, train and develop gaming team members.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily gaming operations and maintaining a strong floor presence
• Driving gaming revenue, performance and agreed KPIs
• Reviewing results and identifying opportunities to improve performance
• Supporting gaming promotions and customer engagement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with Queensland gaming legislation and responsible gambling requirements
• Maintaining harm-minimisation and self-exclusion procedures
• Managing operational audits, cash controls and reporting
• Recruiting, training, coaching and developing gaming team members
• Working closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team
• Delivering a welcoming and responsible experience for every guest
