Job summary

Guzman y Gomez is seeking a Shift Leader to guide and coach our team, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to food safety and quality standards. You will set the tone for excellent service, train new crew and maintain operational excellence across shifts.

This full-time role (38 hours a week) involves mornings, evenings, and weekends. We value leadership, strong customer service, and commitment to safety standards, with training and career progression into supervisory roles.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service track record.
• Willingness to complete relevant food safety and alcohol service certificates.

Job description

Your role will see you leading, coaching and motivating the team to enhance the guest experience while upholding the highest food safety and quality standards, ensuring every guest receives the best. Your leadership will set the tone for operational excellence and foster a positive work environment for the crew.

We are looking for people that are available on a full time basis, (38 hours a week). Shifts may include early mornings, late nights and weekends.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
• A track record of providing outstanding customer service
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course
