Job summary

S’WICH Services Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Cook for a full-time, ongoing role at our Bondi Beach and Surry Hills outlets. You will prepare, cook and present meals to our fast-casual standards, ensuring quality, safety and consistency across all menu options.

Hours are 38 per week with overtime as needed; weekend work is essential as the stores trade seven days. Join a busy team and contribute to menu execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial food preparation and cooking, with ability to work quickly during peak service.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and hygienic handling and temperature control.
• Ability to prepare, season and cook all menu options to recipe, and portion, plate and present meals consistently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients.
• Effective communication and teamwork on shift, including weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook food across the full menu to order according to S’WICH recipes.
• Examine foodstuffs for quality and reject items not meeting standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers and other equipment.
• Portion food, plate and garnish to presentation standards.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of ingredients and meals.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements; assist with costing.
• Train kitchen staff and apprentices and provide day-to-day direction.
