Qualifications

• Experience operating earthmoving machinery safely and efficiently.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hold a current driver's licence (essential).
• Machinery tickets or prior farming/landscaping experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate earthmoving machinery (loaders, excavators, etc.).
• Receive and distribute feedstocks from businesses in the waste industry.
• Process, move and manage compost materials.
• Slash grass and maintain paddocks, roadways and grounds.
• Carry out general farm maintenance and basic equipment upkeep.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
