Job summary

Takura Bark and Compost Pty Ltd in Narangba, Queensland, is seeking a full-time Yard Machine and Truck Operator to operate our loader, manage bins, load trucks, and make deliveries across the greater Brisbane area.

You'll safely operate the loader to sort and load mulch and compost, deliver materials in a tandem tipper, and perform routine maintenance. A strong commitment to health and safety and records keeping is essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience operating loaders in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience operating tipper trucks (HR minimum).
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate our loader sorting, storing and loading mulch and compost.

Job description

As a Mulch and compost Yard Machine and Truck Operator at Takura Bark and Compost Pty Ltd, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of machinery within our yard at our Narangba facility, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you'll be responsible for operating our loader to manage bins, load trucks and make deliveries in the greater Brisbane area.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate our loader sorting, storing and loading mulch and compost

Deliver materials in our tandem tipper to various clients in the greater Brisbane area

Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Maintain and manage delivery records.

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Maintain detailed records of machinery usage, production volumes, and quality control checks

What we're looking for

Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience operating loaders and in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment

A minimum of 2 years' experience operating tipper trucks (HR minimum)

Other: A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, and a keen interest in contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes
