MACKAY CRICKET ASSOCIATION INC. Trading as HARRUP PARK COUNTRY CLUB in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking full-time Chefs and Cooks for their busy bistro. The role is permanent, 38 hours per week, with four weeks annual leave, and salary plus super.

You must have a relevant industry qualification and at least 3 years’ experience. Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine is highly desirable, and you will contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation, and rostering in a vibrant team.

Competenze

• Must have relevant industry qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine is highly desirable.
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes.
• Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and cost control.
• Stock ordering and rostering experience.

Mansioni

• Prep, cooking and plating to high standards.
• Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu development.
• Monitor food quality and presentation at all stages.
• Control food cost and labour cost; assist with rostering.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance.
• Train junior team members on cooking techniques.
