Job summary

Bar Beach Bowling and Sporting Club in Merewether NSW is seeking two Chefs or Cooks to join our kitchen team under the Head Chef. You will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting all foods, with emphasis on food safety and guest satisfaction.

Key duties include supporting the Head Chef and team, maintaining hygiene, cooking a variety of meals, managing stock rotation, and following recipes and menus to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

• Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to prepare and present a variety of meals following recipes and menus.
• Works effectively as part of a kitchen team under direction of Head Chef.

Bar Beach Bowling Club bistro is looking for two Chefs or Cooks to join our team and work with our new Head Chef

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing, producing and presenting all foods according to and as directed by our Head Chef. You will provide superior customer service to patrons, placing the highest importance on food safety and hygiene, food preparation and presentation to ensure our guests have a memorable experience.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
• Preparing and cooking a variety of fresh, high-quality meals
• Supporting tasks in stock rotation, and general kitchen duties
• Following recipes and menus to ensure consistency

30-35 hours available currently with immediate start, with potential to move to full time for the right candidate

Bistro currently trades Wednesday-Sunday, no late nights!
