Job summary

Surfers Paradise Golf Club on the Gold Coast seeks a passionate Part Time Chef to join our kitchen team and deliver high-quality Australian dining.

You will operate the kitchen alongside our Head Chef, work a set roster including lunch and dinner shifts and weekends, and contribute to stock control and budgeting. Immediate start for the right candidate with relevant hospitality qualifications.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher.
• Kitchen experience in a club, restaurant, cafe or function environment – minimum 2 years.
• Highly organized and motivated.
• High standard of personal presentation & hygiene.
• Food Safety Certificate.
• Pride in presenting consistent, well-presented meals.
• Experience in stock control and budgeting in mind.
• Available to work a mixture of lunch & dinner shifts & weekends.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work unsupervised and part of a team.

We are seeking a passionate Part Time Chef to join our team at the Surfers Paradise Golf Club

As a part-time Chef, you will be responsible for operating the kitchen and delivering a high-quality food and dining experience serving traditional Australian cuisine working alongside our Head Chef.

The following skills, behaviors and qualifications are essential:

• Certificate IIIin Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher
• Kitchen experience in a club, restaurant, cafe or function environment – minimum 2years
• Highly organized and motivated
• High standard of personal presentation & hygiene
• I'm Alert Food Safety Certificate
• Must have pride in presenting consistent, well-presented meals
• Experience in stock control and ordering, with budgeting in mind
• Available to work a mixture of lunch & dinner shifts & weekends.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work unsupervised and part of a team

Functions Experience

This is a permanent/part-time opportunity with consistent weekly hours on a set roster for aconfident, hands-on Chef with a proven track record. Immediate start available for the right Chef.
