Job summary

Kurrawa Surf Club on the Gold Coast is seeking a qualified, experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen team and deliver quality meals with consistent flavour.

You will work across kitchen sections, assist with stock control, maintain food safety, and thrive in a vibrant beachside environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Food Safety Supervisor certification must-have.
• Positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Prepare and present quality meals with consistent flavour, portions and presentation.
• Work across kitchen sections: grill, larder, pans, fryers, pizza.
• Maintain service flow through clear communication with kitchen and front-of-house.
• Assist with stock control, rotation and minimising waste.
