Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club is seeking a motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a premier Sunshine Coast location. The role starts as casual with a pathway to full-time salary for the right candidate, and shifts run from 11:00 to 20:30 with a 1-hour break.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with culinary certification.
• Minimum 5 years in a kitchen leadership role.
• Experience with ordering, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ability to lead the team in the Head Chef's absence.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Job description

Dicky Beach Surf Club is an award winning club -seeking to hire a motivatedand experienced Sous Chef. This unique opportunity will provide the right applicant anopportunity to work in one of the Sunshine coasts most picturesque locations.

We offer above award rates and a flexible roster.

Shifts normally work from 11am - 8.30pm with an hour break Friday to Tuesday with an RDO a month,four and a half day week, 5 weeks annual leave and leave loading, plus meals.

We are looking for someone with a passion for creating quality food to join our amazing team.

The position will commence as casual and leading to a full-time salary forthe right candidate.

The successful applicant will:

• Be Trade Qualified
• 5 years experience in kitchen leadership role
• Experience in ordering, budgeting, financial reporting, menu creation
• Lead the team in absence of the Head Chef
• Cooking The Books Software experience would be advantageous
• Be motivated andwilling to work in a team environment
• Be driven by quality and customer satisfaction
