Job summary

Southport Surf Life Saving Club is seeking an experienced Qualified Chef to join our established kitchen team at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. You will help deliver quality meals in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a friendly, supportive team.

The role is permanent full-time, 38 hours per week, with 5 weeks annual leave and a roster featuring 3 double shifts and 2 half-days. Public holiday penalties apply according to the Award.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified chef with relevant trade qualifications.
• Have experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Have strong grill and pans skills.
• Be reliable, organised and able to work efficiently during busy services.
• Take pride in the quality and presentation of your food.
• Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.

Southport Surf Life Saving Club Supporters Club is looking for an experienced Qualified Chef to join our established kitchen team at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.

We are a busy seven-day club offering a great opportunity for a qualified chef who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, a strong team environment and a genuine work-life balance.

What we offer:

• $80,000 per annum + superannuation
• Permanent full-time position
• 38 hours per week
• 5 weeks annual leave
• Roster structured around 3 double shifts and 2 half-days
• Public holiday rates paid separately in accordance with the Award
• Staff account card
• Fantastic Main Beach location – the beach is right across the road
