InterContinental Sydney, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Front Office Supervisor (Full-time) to lead our Front Office team and deliver a memorable, luxury guest experience in a world-class hotel. The role focuses on team motivation, service quality, and cross-department collaboration to uphold brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in Front Office with leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for VIP guest service in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in Front Office operations with leadership capacity.
• Exceptional service standards in a VIP environment.
• Qualifications or currently studying in Hotel Management or related field would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and language skills are advantageous.
• You must meet the legal requirements to live & work in Australia.

Your day to day

Join our team of our Front Office leadership team, your focus is to ensure a memorable guest experience is delivered, the team are motivated & departmental service and goals are met.

You'll drive team engagement, people management, guest feedback & problem resolution, brand & cleanliness standards. This is a busy and varied role with connection to all departments across the Hotel.

Your presentation, passion for service and eagerness to lead will be the key to creating a seamless, luxury experience for our guests and ensuring we are operating as a global world class InterContinental Hotel.

What we need from you

• 1+ years' experience in Front Office operations, including demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity at team leader or supervisor level
• Exceptional service standards and ability to lead within a VIP environment
• Qualifications or currently studying in Hotel Management and/or related field would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and language skills are advantageous
• Strong organisational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• You must meet the legal requirements to live & work in Australia. No WHV, Student Visa or temporary visa applicable for this role
