Job summary

Ovolo Hotels presents an exciting Front Office Supervisor role at Ovolo Canberra (Nishi), reporting to the Front Office Manager. This full-time position focuses on leading the Front Office team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and coordinating night audit duties as required.

You will bring proven Front Office leadership, strong guest service and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Opera Cloud. The role offers a dynamic environment in a design-forward hotel.

Qualifications

• Front Office experience in a hotel, with supervisory or leadership background.
• Strong guest service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Night Audit experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with Opera Cloud; knowledge of Infrasys and STR is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work rotating roster including nights.

Responsibilities

• Energize, motivate, train, develop, and lead your Team in all things Front Office
• Supervise operations and assist with duties as required, ensuring the smooth running of Front Office according to Ovolo standards and procedures.
• Conduct show rounds around the hotel for hotel guests, clients, and anyone who is making enquiries
• Oversee all requests from guests, including airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurant bookings, and entertainment plans
• Manage the Rostering of the Front Office department to ensure it meets business demand when required.
• The role will also be required to complete Night Audit shifts and associated overnight duties when operationally necessary, including end-of-day procedures, reporting, account checks, hotel security and overnight guest support.
