Job summary

Ovolo Hotels in Canberra is seeking a Guest Service Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a memorable brand experience. This full-time position falls under the HIGA award and requires flexibility in availability.

You will greet guests, check them in and out, manage bookings, promote hotel services, and assist with guest inquiries. Prior front office experience is preferred but a bubbly personality and positive attitude are welcome.

Qualifications

• You will need a strong passion for customer service and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• At least three years of experience in a similar role or customer service position.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel front desk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the hotel and make them feel welcome.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Modify and adjust guest bookings as needed.
• Promote the hotel and its offerings to guests.
• Make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Address guest inquiries in person, by phone, email or website.
• Support the Front Office management team to ensure smooth hotel operations.
