Job summary

Mantra on Northbourne, ideally situated just a block away from Canberra CBD, is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead front-of-house operations and foster team unity to create unforgettable guest experiences.

You will recruit, train and mentor the Front Office team, manage reservations, guest accounts and reports, ensure OH&S compliance, and monitor budgets and revenue to achieve financial objectives. Accor benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hotel Operations with history of leading the Front Office team as a Supervisor or Manager.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Guide and unify front-of-house operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Resolve guest issues with creative solutions.
• Recruit, train and mentor Front Office staff; monitor performance.
• Adhere to OH&S requirements and respond to emergencies.
• Manage reservations, guest accounts, and analyze reports/data.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure and revenue to meet financial objectives.
