Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a hands-on Front Office Manager for our hotel portfolio in Australia. This 12-month maternity leave contract starts at the beginning of October, with responsibilities spanning daily Front Office operations, staff leadership, and driving a strong service culture to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will oversee operations in the absence of the Hotel/General Manager, coordinate staffing, and monitor budgets while maximizing occupancy and ADR.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hotel front office operations, ideally fast-paced properties.
• Strong occupancy and yield management understanding to maximise ADR.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing departmental budgets and cost control.
• Experience handling guest feedback and driving service improvements.
• Workforce planning and rostering with cost awareness.
• Hold an RSA or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work across AM/PM shifts, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front Office operations delivering seamless guest experiences.
• Oversee hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel/General Manager.
• Coach team to uphold service values and exceptional guest service.
• Coordinate staffing across departments to meet operational and financial targets.
• Maintain high lobby visibility during VIP and group arrivals.
