Job summary

Holiday Inn Sydney Potts Point is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead front desk operations and guest service, reporting to the Front Office Manager. You will champion a one-team approach, manage guest inquiries, and drive high standards of service and safety across shifts.

The role requires at least 2 years in a hotel front office leadership position, a Diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication. Evening/weekend availability and unrestricted AU working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ front desk/guest service leader experience within a hotel front office operation.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Working knowledge of Opera property management system.
• Diploma or equivalent; some relevant tertiary education preferred.
• Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead guest experiences, drive team performance and overall hotel operations.
• Respond to guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise colleagues during busy periods and support operations.
• Conduct daily briefings and participate in regular team meetings.
• Ensure authentic, memorable guest experiences and safe hotel operations.
