Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is seeking a friendly Front Office All-Rounder to join our resort team. You’ll support Front Office and Guest Services, helping create a warm and seamless experience for guests from arrival through to departure.

You’ll welcome guests with check-ins and check-outs, respond to enquiries, assist with luggage and porter services, and promote Accor loyalty programs while upselling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel Front Office or customer-facing hospitality.
• Genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Confident communication and ability to connect with people.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with check-ins and check-outs.
• Responding to guest enquiries and service requests.
• Assisting guests with luggage and porter services.
• Handling concierge enquiries, local bookings and guest requests.
• Promoting Accor loyalty programs and upselling opportunities.

Job Description

We’re looking for a friendly and adaptable Front Office All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a varied role where you’ll support our Front Office and Guest Services operations, helping create a warm and seamless experience for our guests from arrival through to departure.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming guests and assisting with check-ins and departures
• Responding to guest enquiries and service requests
• Assisting guests with luggage and providing porter services
• Assisting with concierge enquiries including local recommendations, bookings and guest requests
• Promoting Accor loyalty programs and upselling opportunities
• Working closely with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
• Completing guest records and general Front Office administration

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in hotel Front Office or a customer-facing hospitality role
• Has a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences
• Communicates confidently and enjoys connecting with people
• Is proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Office; Opera Cloud experience is highly regarded
• Is flexible to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
