Job summary

Angourie Resort’s signature dining venue, Tides Kitchen & Bar, seeks a hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead front‑of‑house operations and guest experiences at a coastal resort near Yamba. You’ll drive service across restaurant, café, kiosk and bar, coaching a high‑performing team while managing rosters and stock to meet demand.

Reporting to the Head of Food & Beverage, you’ll partner with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service delivery and elevated guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager or lead F&B role.
• Strong front-of-house experience in hospitality venues such as restaurants, hotels or resorts.
• Outstanding people leadership with coaching and development skills.
• Experience managing rosters and labour costs.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Current RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead all front-of-house operations across outlets including the café, kiosk and bar.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences to drive positive reviews and loyalty.
• Train, mentor and develop a high-performing front-of-house team.
• Create a positive team culture focused on service excellence.
• Develop rosters aligned to demand and labour budgets.
• Manage ordering and stock for kiosk, café and beverage operations.
• Oversee bar operations, including RSA compliance and beverage standards.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and Head of F&B to ensure seamless service.
• Identify opportunities to improve service standards and efficiency.
