Job summary

NRMA Angourie Resort on the NSW North Coast seeks a hands-on Assistant Manager to partner with the Resort Manager and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments. You will lead guest-focused teams, drive service excellence, and ensure efficient rostering and budgeting while delivering memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in boutique resort, hotel or premium hospitality.
• Experience coaching and developing hospitality teams.
• Strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across all resort areas.
• Lead, coach and develop teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Foster a positive, engaged and guest-centric team culture.
• Support rostering, workforce planning and budgeting.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of team members.
• Monitor operational performance and costs to improve outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Events and Day Spa teams for guest satisfaction.
