Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a Freight Operations Coordinator at our Arundel depot on the Gold Coast. This fixed-term role runs Monday to Friday until February 2027, with a hands-on mix of depot floor and office duties to support daily freight operations.

You will assist customers, manage freight movements, complete documentation and liaise with drivers and depot staff to resolve issues and maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, freight coordination or transport operations will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and confident dealing with customers, drivers and internal teams.
• Comfortable in a hands-on depot environment with regular movement between office and floor.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operations setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with freight collections, enquiries and damaged freight matters, providing helpful and professional service.
• Support movement and handling of small parcels across the depot, including locating, sorting and preparing freight for collection.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and depot staff to coordinate freight movements and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Prepare and manage freight manifests, ensuring consignments are recorded and allocated.
• Complete data entry, freight documentation and general administrative tasks.
• Conduct driver debriefs, process returned paperwork and follow up on discrepancies.
• Carry out freight and documentation audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Provide flexible, hands-on support across both depot floor and administration as required.
