Team Global Express are seeking a Freight Operations Coordinator to join our Arundel depot on the Gold Coast. This is a fixed-term position until the end of February 2027, working Monday to Friday, hands-on and customer-facing.

You will move between the depot floor and office to assist customers with freight collections, damaged freight inquiries and general freight requests, while supporting the operational and administrative requirements of the depot.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, freight coordination or transport operations will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers, drivers and internal teams.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on depot environment, including moving between the office and operational floor.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks and documentation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proactive, reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with freight collections, enquiries and damaged freight matters, providing a helpful and professional service.
• Support the movement and handling of small parcels across the depot, including locating, sorting and preparing freight for collection.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and depot staff to coordinate freight movements and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Prepare and manage freight manifests, ensuring consignments are accurately recorded and allocated.
• Complete data entry, freight documentation and general administrative tasks.
• Conduct driver debriefs, process returned paperwork and follow up on discrepancies.
• Carry out freight and documentation audits to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
• Provide flexible, hands-on support across both the depot floor and administration functions as required.
