Job summary

GEODIS in Sydney (Matraville) seeks a Business Unit Manager to lead the end-to-end service for customers within the unit. You will oversee order progression, routing, procurement and tariff maintenance while engaging customers through KPI oversight and regular service calls.

The role requires leadership with 5+ years’ experience, knowledge of freight forwarding and accounting practices is advantageous, and familiarity with CargoWise is preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership with proven team management experience.
• Customer service and commercial exposure including quoting.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and accounting practices is advantageous.
• Lean processes implemented in logistics environments.
• Experience with CargoWise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end service for all customers within the Business Unit.
• Manage order progression, overseas office and agent follow up, routing and procurement, cost and tariff maintenance with regular reviews.
• Engage with customers through reporting, KPI oversight, QBRs and regular service calls.
