Team Global Express is seeking a Freight Investigator to join our Melbourne Airport-based Operations team. You will locate and investigate freight discrepancies, resolve customer inquiries promptly, and collaborate with internal teams to prevent recurring issues.

This role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with Salesforce, and a customer-centric approach to ensure efficient freight handling and resolving enquiries with urgency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role within logistics is desirable.
• Proficient with Excel and common CRM systems.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct depot searches to locate freight and resolve customer enquiries.
• Manage Salesforce activities with accurate updates and timely resolutions.
• Investigate re-delivery, re-direction, damaged or unidentified freight and depot collections.
• Collaborate with depots and internal teams to resolve freight issues.
• Maintain scanning compliance and ensure efficient freight processing.
• Provide excellent customer service with empathy and urgency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement.
