Job summary

R.H Freight and Customs Brokers – Padstow NSW is seeking a Freight Forwarding and Operations Officer to manage end-to-end import and export operations, including Sea Freight (LCL & FCL) and Airfreight.

You will be the main contact for clients, overseas agents and service providers, coordinating bookings, customs clearance and final delivery with a strong focus on customer service and accurate shipment updates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in freight forwarding/logistics operations.
• Experience in import/export air & sea operations.
• Strong customer service in freight forwarding.
• Working knowledge of CargoWise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers and overseas agents.
• Reliable, hardworking and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipments (Sea & Air) from booking to final delivery.
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines and overseas agents.

We are an Australian-owned Freight Forwarder and Customs Brokerage with over 22 years of business in the industry.

About the Role

This role involves end-to-end import and export operations, covering Sea Freight (LCL & FCL) and Airfreight. You will be a key point of contact for clients, overseas agents, and service providers, ensuring smooth and efficient shipment handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the shipments (Sea & Air) from the booking to the final delivery
