Job summary

The Local Guys is seeking a proactive Operations Manager to own and optimise business performance across Franchising, Marketing, Franchise Support, Operations and Customer Service. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, identify bottlenecks, and implement practical improvements to drive efficiency and scalable growth.

This hands-on role requires strong leadership, process mindset and the ability to mentor staff and deliver training programmes, including franchise partner sessions and LMS

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management and/or business leadership.
• Hands-on, proactive approach across multiple departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive efficiency.
• Experience developing training programmes or LMS.
• Willingness to travel to Auckland for franchise training (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Lead across Franchising, Marketing, Franchise Support, Operations and Customer Service to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement practical solutions to streamline processes and boost productivity.
• Monitor departmental performance and ensure delivery against business priorities.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and performance management to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Deliver franchise partner training programmes and ongoing staff development.
