The Local Guys are seeking a People Lead in Australia to own our team, franchise partner training, and day-to-day operations of our Support Centre. You will work with leadership to ensure the right people in the right roles and that the team performs at its best.

This hands-on role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, training, and creating efficient processes, with travel to NZ training sessions and Australia as needed.

• Experience in HR, people management, training, operations or team leadership would be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding and offboarding and other Human Resources activities
• Conduct regular 1:1s and support staff performance and development
• Help build a positive, accountable and high-performing team
• Identify staffing needs and work with management on recruitment
• Lead our Franchise Partner training program every 6 weeks with people starting the exciting journey of starting their own business
• Train new Franchise Partners on company policies, procedures, systems and expectations
• Deliver training in Australia and travel to Auckland to run our NZ training over 3 days (3 times a year)
• Continually improve our training content and onboarding experience
• Identify opportunities to improve how our team and office operate
• Review systems, processes and workflows and find ways to make them more efficient
