Job summary

SPT Labtech, based at the Cambridge site on Melbourn Science Park, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the Group FP&A team. You will partner with commercial and operations, help drive performance insights, and take ownership of forecasts, monthly reporting and the story behind the numbers.

This role suits someone starting a finance career, with support toward ACCA/CIMA/ACA exams, and exposure to a growing Aftersales business.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA or actively working towards.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work with non-finance colleagues.
• Experience with PowerPoint for presentations.
• Interest in FP&A, forecasting and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance partner to Aftersales teams, providing performance insights and margin analysis.
• Prepare monthly service and consumables forecasts linked to installed base and renewals.
• Contribute to monthly management reporting and variance analysis with clear drivers.
• Maintain data consistency across ERP and Salesforce; drive reporting automation and efficiency.
