Job summary

Renova Talent is seeking an experienced finance professional to join a pioneering Fintech during a growth phase. The role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis across a portfolio of programs.

You will work closely with the Head of Finance, Program Managers and workstream leads to own financial planning, forecasting and business cases, delivering clear insights to senior stakeholders. CA/CPA qualification and strong Excel skills are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, management accounting or program finance.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build robust forecasts/models.
• Ability to present financial insight to senior stakeholders and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking across major programs and initiatives.
• Monitor expenditure, commitments and funding against approved budgets.
• Partner with program managers to maintain accurate forecasts.
• Prepare financial reporting, variance analysis and commentary for governance forums.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
• Provide commercial analysis on supplier costs, funding requirements and new initiatives.
• Identify financial risks, cost pressures and opportunities.
• Improve financial tracking, forecasting and reporting processes across programs.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a pioneering Fintech organisation during an important stage of growth and delivery. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working across complex programs, building robust forecasts and models, and turning financial information into clear commercial insight.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, Program Managers and workstream leads, you’ll take ownership of financial planning, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis across a portfolio of significant programs and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking across major programs and initiatives
• Monitor expenditure, commitments and funding against approved budgets
• Partner with Program Managers and workstream leads to maintain accurate forecasts
• Prepare financial reporting, variance analysis and commentary for management and governance forums
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases to support decision-making
• Provide commercial analysis across supplier costs, funding requirements and new initiatives
• Identify financial risks, cost pressures and opportunities
• Improve financial tracking, forecasting and reporting processes across programs

About You

You’ll have strong experience across commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting, project finance or program finance, ideally with 7+ years’ experience.

You’ll be confident working with complex budgets and forecasts, developing financial models and providing clear financial insight to senior stakeholders. Strong Excel skills, CA or CPA qualification and experience partnering with multiple financial stakeholders will be highly regarded.

You’re commercially minded, highly analytical and comfortable taking ownership of complex financial information while communicating it clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
