Job summary

4Twenty Consulting is seeking a Founding Business Development Manager to establish its Australian FinTech SME lending presence from Sydney. You will build an enduring broker network, source lending opportunities and influence local growth strategy.

The role offers ownership of outbound activity, direct broker relationships and a path to broader ANZ leadership as the business scales, with a competitive base plus super and commission incentives.

Qualifications

• Established Australian broker introducer network.
• Track record of generating lending volume.
• Ability to convert referrals into revenue.
• Commercial judgement to qualify opportunities and manage deals.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Building and activating relationships with finance brokers, accountants and referral partners.
• Generating new SME lending opportunities through your network.
• Owning opportunities from initial introduction through to funding, working with internal credit and operations teams.
• Establishing a strong local presence through meetings, industry events and partner engagement.
• Identifying opportunities to improve the proposition, broker experience and market approach.
• Helping lay the foundations for a growing Australian business.
