Octopusbot Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Founding Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle from discovery to close. You will prospect, build relationships, run demos, manage trials, negotiate and close deals, and expand accounts across Australia, Europe, and North America.

You will work closely with the founders and data science teams to shape our go‑to‑market strategy as we scale. This role suits a high‑agency, hands‑on professional who can forecast accurately, drive growth,

Competenze

• Ability to own the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Experience in SaaS, data, agriculture or related industries is useful but not required.

• Build and manage a strong pipeline and accurate sales forecast.
• Prospect and build relationships across growers, agribusinesses, traders, processors, food companies, brokers and financial institutions.
• Own opportunities from first conversation through demos, trials, proposals, negotiation and close.
• Grow existing customers through renewals, expansion and additional products or regions.
• Build and refine outbound strategies across Australia, Europe and North America.
• Use feedback and data to improve ICP, messaging and sales process.
• Keep HubSpot accurate with next steps for each opportunity.
• Improve sales processes and enablement.
• Support partnerships and represent Octopusbot at events.
