Somewhere is a high-growth healthcare logistics and managed transportation platform seeking an Operations Assistant to work closely with the founder. This remote, full-time role requires sharp problem-solving, concise communication, and proactive ownership across executive support, client onboarding, and basic financial reporting.

Candidates should be in Latin America or South Africa and be available to work in US Pacific Time hours.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in Operations Associate, Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or similar role directly supporting a founder or senior executive.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and take ownership without hand-holding.
• Hands-on experience with basic bookkeeping, tracking revenue/expenses, and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English with concise communication and clear next steps.
• Ego-free, coachable attitude aligned with a founder's rhythm.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and cloud accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Located in Latin America or South Africa with full availability to work live during US Pacific Time business hours.

Mansioni

• Inbox triage and responding on the founder's behalf; flag critical issues.
• Calendar management across multiple time zones and coordination of meetings with enterprise clients and partners.
• Post-meeting follow-ups, action item tracking, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Support onboarding for new healthcare and enterprise clients and provide operational questions answered.
• Maintain basic bookkeeping records and prepare concise financial reports for executives.
• Lead special projects, build process documentation, and implement lightweight internal automations.
