Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking a Space Data Assistant to maintain and enrich space management records, floor plans, and spatial information systems on a full-time basis. Based on the Crawley campus, you will support data-driven campus planning and stakeholder collaboration.

You will work with databases, CAD drawings, and spatial information systems, ensuring accurate data, engaging with faculties and external consultants, and contributing to continuous improvement in space

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate IV level qualification or equivalent education, training and experience.
Experience with databases, spreadsheets, data management systems and maintaining accurate data/records.
Strong attention to detail with ability to manage large data volumes and floor plan information.
Ability to interpret floor plans, drawings, and spatial information; familiarity with CAD drawings or related spatial information systems.
Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the University’s space management records, databases, floor plans and spatial information systems with data accuracy and integrity.
Conduct space audits, utilisation reviews, occupancy and capacity assessments, and analyse space-related data to support campus planning and reporting.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to manage space information requests and contribute to space management projects.
