Job summary

The University of Western Australia (UWA) invites applications for a Space Data Assistant to maintain space management records, audits and CAD-based floor plans. You will support data accuracy, occupancy analysis and workforce planning on the Crawley campus, working with internal teams and external consultants.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Certificate IV, strong data handling skills, CAD familiarity and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate IV level or equivalent experience.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets and data management systems.
• Strong attention to detail handling large datasets and floor plan information.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and spatial information with clear graphics.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve space management records, databases and floor plans with accurate data.
• Conduct space audits, utilisation reviews and capacity assessments for planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on space information requests.
• Support signage, wayfinding and space allocation processes; contribute to process improvements.
