Job summary

ttc Townsville is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Townsville Service team on a permanent part-time basis. The role blends customer service, service coordination, parts support and administration to ensure customers receive outstanding service from enquiry to job completion.

The position is 22.5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling across up to five days to fit school hours or personal commitments. Join a collaborative team and support technicians, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, service coordination or similar support roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and friendly phone manner.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming service enquiries via phone and email.
• Provide product information, service updates and support to customers.
• Create, schedule and coordinate service work orders.
• Prepare job cards and assist with technician scheduling.
• Follow up with customers on completed service work.
• Prepare quotations in consultation with the Service Manager.
• Interpret parts requirements and identify correct parts for customers/workshop.
• Assist with parts enquiries and product support.
• Process spare parts orders and coordinate supply.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure parts availability.
• Order, receipting and coordinate machinery, spare parts and consumables.
• Arrange transport for machine deliveries and customer collections.
• Maintain accuracy of work orders and related documentation.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoicing and completed job cards.
• Monitor service workload and assist with workshop capacity.
• Handle cash sales and payments.
• Provide general admin support to Service team.
• Support workshop admin tasks including tagging and movements.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental requirements.
