Job summary

Avina is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team across Brisbane West, Ipswich and Toowoomba regions. You will deliver Positive Behaviour Support within diverse settings, including homes, schools, and community environments, with telehealth options where appropriate.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, have flexible, person‑centred autonomy over your week, and access strong clinical supervision and a supportive national network.

Qualifications

• Current NDIS Commission suitability at Core level or above.
• Experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A flexible, collaborative and person-centred approach.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Positive Behaviour Support.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
• Support participants, families and support teams to implement meaningful strategies.
• Work across home, school, community and telehealth settings.
• Collaborate with OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology and other multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Manage your own schedule with flexibility and autonomy.
• Participate in clinical supervision, peer collaboration and professional development.
