Job summary

Avina is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Elizabeth Vale. You will deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Behaviour Support services across home, school, clinic and community environments.

You'll work with a varied caseload, develop Behaviour Support Plans, and collaborate with OTs, SLPs, Psychologists and Physiotherapists to implement meaningful strategies while maintaining a flexible schedule and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Proficient NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability/registration.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A person-centred, evidence-informed approach.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community work.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed Behaviour Support services across a diverse caseload.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
• Support participants, families and stakeholders to implement meaningful strategies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.
• Manage your own schedule with flexibility across community and clinic settings.
• Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development opportunities.
