Job summary

Avina is seeking a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner for the Elizabeth Vale team in South Australia. The role involves complex caseloads, mentoring junior staff, and working within a genuinely multidisciplinary team across home, school, clinic and community settings.

You may participate in a FIFO/DIDO roster with travel and accommodation covered where required, supporting regional SA communities while maintaining strong family and educator partnerships.

Qualifications

• NDIS Commission suitability at Proficient level or above.
• Significant Behaviour Support experience with mentoring or supervision experience.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community-based work.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Collaborative and person-centred approach to practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver behaviour support services across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Manage a complex caseload, including Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practice reporting.
• Provide mentoring, clinical supervision or support to junior colleagues.
• Participate in a FIFO/DIDO roster to support regional SA communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Take part in ongoing professional development and peer collaboration.
