Job summary

BOQ Group is seeking a Customer Relationship Specialist for its The Gap branch in Brisbane. You will welcome customers, identify financial needs, and guide them to suitable banking solutions while supporting a team‑driven, growth‑oriented environment.

You will drive customer retention by following up on leads, booking appointments, and collaborating with lending specialists. Training in lending and digital banking is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Ability to identify customer goals and match them with banking solutions.
• Comfort navigating financial systems and policies with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to uncover current and future goals and match them with banking solutions.
• Manage loan maintenance requests (top-ups, pricing adjustments, variations) to ensure smooth customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for referrals to Home Lending and Business Banking to provide comprehensive support.
• Maintain regular contact with customers, manage leads, and book appointments to deepen relationships and drive retention.
• Coach Customer Service Officers on quality conversations, lead identification and service excellence.
• Promote and assist customers with digital banking tools to build confidence online.
